Activities

1. KINDERGARTENS AND SCHOOLS
At present the Sisters run three Kindergartens and two Elementary Schools. In October 2014 in Teuk Thla we had classes from grade 7 until grade 9.

2. VOCATIONAL TRAINING COURSES
At present the Sisters run three Vocational Training Centers for Girls: Sewing Course in Battambang, Secretary and Computer Course in Tuol Kork and Home and Food Management in Teuk Thla.

3. BOARDING HOUSES

Main purpose of boarding houses is to offer accommodation and full formation to our girls, who come from different parts of Cambodia and are too poor to live by themselves. Most of the boarders study in our schools, but for those in need we also find outside support and education. Some girls stay with us while studying to become a teacher in our schools.

3. ORATORIES
Oratories are our outreach projects. They help us to keep in contact with local communities and children in the villages. They are led by sisters with help of many Cambodian volunteers, who work with us through VIDES Cambodia. We visit our oratory sites every Sunday, and we offer literacy programs, English and different games and songs.

4. WORK WITH FAMILIES
Parents are invited to attend meetings four times within the school year to listen to resource speakers and update themselves on education and social issues. They shall be made aware of their contribution to the fulfillment of their child's education.
The Cambodian society, particularly where the students' families come from, are constantly improving their quality of life. Incidences of drug addition, gambling, youth prostitution and other negative elements will be lessened as more and more youth are provided education and skills that will equip and empower them to be productive citizens.

5. WORK WITH PAST PUPILS AND STAFF
We provide past pupils, teachers and staff members with updating and formation courses regularly in terms of knowledge, values and human formation.
